In Figure 10, Blacks group is dead because White deemed to have the only claim, but if else where these is a double pae or some such to equal claim, this position must be played out. This position will often annul the game. (Figure 11, 12, 13)

5)Triple Pae and circulation Pae and so on follow the play-out rule. If neither player gives up, the repetition will annul the game.

Article 4. Resolving Disputes

1)If a stone is shifted during the game, it should be put back in its original place if possible. If it is not possible, leave it where it is and continue to play however if the players cannot agree on continuing, both lose.

2)In tournaments other than professional or semi-professional tournaments, the referee has the final say.
