Where do I play baduk?
To use Dash Baduk service, program should be installed after downloading the program.
Once you click "download" from our home page and read download instructions, you can install as message window appears. After installation, double click newly created "DashBaduk" icon and then you can select menu and enter the game room as the game program is executed.
What is right click?
Windows system of Microsoft fundamentally supports right click in any kind of program. The method of using right click in Dash Baduk program is easy. First of all, mouse pointer should be placed on the opponent's ID and then right click. Then such pop-up menus like match request, 1:1 chat will function conveniently and enable game request, 1:1 chat and sending messages. As a reference, double left click will automatically request game to opponent.
How do I change my personal information?
ID, name and rating cannot be altered freely. However, user information such as password, e-mail address can be altered at "config" menu at the top of the waiting room.
If you still want alteration of such personal information (rating, password, ID etc) which cannot be done at the "config" menu, please fill out name, password and ID, explain alteration grounds and wanted item, then it will be handled.
Is my personal information shown to others as well? When I click "my info" at the waiting room menu, personal information such as e-mail address and contact numbers are shown. But when I click other's ID, only his records are viewed, but not his personal information.
What happens when the opponent escapes in the middle of game?
Our current service does not allow temporal game room escapees. There is "pause" button, but if the opponent is not agreed, then you cannot exit. And if you try to exit on purpose, then you have to exit computer. If the opponent escapes the game room without opponent's consent, please page master. The web master is always stand by. (Use "master" button, 1:1 chat, "dash 911" button) The master will make the judgment and resolve the problem after investigation of situation. The irresistibly disconnection and intentional disconnection cannot be technically distinguished. When the judge request arrives, master examines the situation and state of game. If the disconnected opponent does not try reconnection within 5 minutes and when the disconnected side is at a disadvantage, the one remaining in the game room will be regarded as the winner.
How do I use avatar?
If avatar greeting is saved when you register, you can share fun chat with opponent player using avatar animation with function keys ranged from F1(greeting) to F10(farewell). Also when the alteration to the contents of greeting is desired, press "config" at the waiting room menu or click "greeting" button of game room menu. Then you can change avatar greetings.
Either ID or password is forgotton.
If you have been long since the last connection to Dash and entered wrong password, you cannot log in to Baduk program. ID and password of Dash Baduk read big and small letters of alphabets. If ID or password are forgotten or wrongly set up during registration, please refer to "password lookup" menu of homepage.
If you cannot log in when password is correct and not lost, then you could have been reported as bad user and ID has been already suspended. You can view the list of members whose ID are suspended from the 'escapees ' menu of homepage. If suspension was due to personally inevitable ground, please send mail to the master, then he will check and answer to it.
Can I change ID or rating?
According to our general rule, the alteration of ID and rating is not available. But when inevitable, send ID alteration request e-mail, then we will examine the alteration ground. Alteration is made every Tuesday morning during cleaning time.
Rating is automatically done in accordance with change of rating points. ID and rating affects the record data of other members, so alteration process is very difficult to be made. And in the case of ID alteration, deletion of ID you have been using will erase all the existing records. So the whole member information will be deleted and reset.
What is rating point?
Dash Baduk rating point is standard point ranged from amateur 7-Dan to 18-Kub for seizing your rating objectively. It is created when a newly registered member have had 20 or more games at the rating lounge, using the opponent's rating and your own rating you entered when registering as a member, as the base.
K.D means rating of new member who have not yet had 20 matches and rating you entered when registering is not yet verified in the Dash Baduk rating system. When more than 20 games are held after registration, rating will be marked with either Kub or Dan and will be recognized as the official rating.

The game is adjourned due to disconnection. What should I do?
(It seems like the opponent player exited the room. For how long should I wait?)
If even a single player is left in the waiting room, request game judgment to master. Then the master will see the situation and wait for the escaped player for approx 5 minutes and will make the final judgment. When the game is regarded as adjourned game while the game judgment request could not be made to the master in the game room, there are 2 ways to conclude the game.
Example1) Continue adjourned game.
When adjourned player is connected, (after registering as my friend, write "adjourned game" on memo and select "alarm" function. Then the opponent's connection will be automatically notified), re-negotiate the game to the same condition as previously adjourned game. Before making a move after installation of game room, call for adjourned game by a click "continue" on the chat window screen so that you can finish adjourned game. Procedure: Request game and negotiate it as the same condition with the game you want to continue =>install room=> Renegotiate under the same condition a)room installation a)click "continue" before making a move a) enter your ID from GIBO search window a)choose GIBO you are about to page from the list screen a) Select paging order => Click "confirm"
Example 2) Request master's judgment.
If player escaped the room without consent, please report him as bad user to "dash 911", then you can also request game judgment at the same time. Game judgment made by master through dash 911 every mornings. (except holidays)(Of course, in the false report is made, the reporter is treated as bad user for dishonoring the one who was falsely reported)
How do I continue adjourned game?
When there is adjourned GIBO, adjourned games are only left in GIBO list and there will be no disadvantage to the user. If you want to continue with adjourned games, re-negotiate the game to the same condition with previously adjourned game when adjourned player is connected to Dash, (after registering as my friend, write "adjourned game" on memo and select "alarm" function, then the opponent's connection will be automatically notified.). Before making a move after installation of game room, call for adjourned game by a click "continue" on the chat window screen, then you can finish adjourned game.
Procedure: Request and negotiate game as the same condition with the game you want to continue =>install room=> Click "continue" before making move=> Enter your ID at the GIBO searching window=> Choose GIBO you are about to page from list screen => Select paging order => Click "confirm" => Game
